Exotic Longhair Breed Information

Occasionally, Bravlion Cattery produces exotic longhair kittens in our litters. While an Exotic Longhair in appearance looks like a Persian, the difference is genetic. Like the Exotic Shorthair, an Exotic Longhair is a cross between a Persian and an American or British Shorthair. Other breedings can produce Exotic Longhairs such as a Persian and an Exotic Shorthair. The longhair gene is recessive, but may present and produce an Exotic Longhair. Exotic Longhairs have been called a new breed with a familiar face.
